It’s all about enjoying RV living, gatherings, and the natural community it creates.

Residents at Providence RV Park, Quitman, Texas, regularly enjoy spending time at the local Speakeasy, ur uh, coffee house. This weekend we met a number of our residents at the Dogwood Festival. (Of course, I tend to think they came for the BBQ.) Whatever the reason, we’re a community within a community. We go to Canton together, dinner together, antiquing together, and of course, fishing together. We’re a small community who watch out for each other, enjoy each other, visit with each other, and then give each other space.

And all of our residents have plenty of space at their spot. Our full time living RVers set up sheds, decks, awnings. Our annual part timers set up just the decks and awnings. The rest just spread out an outdoor carpet and some lawn chairs and start up the grill. Now if you grill fish, you just might have to share.

If they weather’s nice, we’re outside. If it’s not so nice, we just might be found at the Speakeasy having coffee or the Red Dome on Friday night for fried catfish.
